Economics of Tooth Whitening: What it can do for your Practice Growth, Hands-on
January 27, 2017 @ 8:00 am - 11:00 am
Whitening is a great tool for practice growth, but only if you take the time to make it an important part of the practice’s everyday routine. It creates patients who are more invested in their smile and more likely to keep that smile healthy, and patients who may even opt for other treatment down the road.
This course will take the dental team through each step of the whitening process from proper record gathering to planning treatments that begin with whitening as the first step. Attendees will also go through several hands-on rotations that consist of patient consultations, digital photography, pre-filled whitening systems, fabrication of custom trays, proper isolation techniques for in-office whitening, and placement of gingival barriers.
- Determine the best whitening procedure for various patients
- Review proper impression techniques, pouring of models, and fabricate a custom whitening tray
- Practice isolation, gingival barrier placement, and whitening placement on typodonts
- Understand the importance of proper sequencing of whitening and other esthetic procedures
Supplies needed: loupes and lab coat
This course is also offered in the afternoon, 1:00-4:00PM
